This is our two level Class A live fire behavior prop. Allows live fire training in accordance with NFPA standards for Class A fires. Two burn rooms are available using pallets and straw. A vertical ventilation prop is located above the first level burn room and can be used for ventilation over live fire. Both levels have standpipe connections and a sprinkler system for use in water supply or high rise fire scenarios. A wall breaching prop is also located in this building. Metal panels can be placed in the building to change the layout as well. This building requires a live burn instructor and/or an approved Building D instructor in accordance with the SOP established by the Henderson County Fire & Rescue Association. A burn plan and established paperwork is required to be filled out by the lead instructor.
This is a one and two-story structure with roof access that can be used for many types of training. The structure also includes an interior loft space (with divider panel ability), a vent prop over one of the burn rooms, wall breach prop, sprinkler and standpipe systems that can be charged and flowed, forcible entry doors that include a security door (steel bar) and a standard entry door.
