Core Classes are classes that all students must take and pass in order to graduate. For your 9th Grade year, you will automatically be enrolled in the following core classes. Please read the following descriptions on each course below to get more information on each one:  

As an incoming Freshman, you can choose between English I, or English I Honors: 

You will be enrolled in either Algebra or Geometry. 

If you are currently in Math 8, you will be enrolled in Algebra. 

If you are in Algebra, and pass with a C or better, then you will be enrolled in Geometry. If you are in Algebra and earn a D or F, then you will be placed in Algebra again. 

All incoming 9th graders will be enrolled in Biology: 

All incoming 9th Graders will be enrolled in PE.
