GoTalks and QuickTalkers  are static display voice output devices.  Buttons can be programmed with content that is appropriate for the individual.  Both have several levels that can each be programmed with different content along with several "core" buttons that will remain the same on each level.  They are battery operated and the directions to program each device are conveniently listed on the back of the device.
