How to Get an Instrument

Option 1: RENT AN INSTRUMENT

Instrument rentals typically range in price from $15 to $35 per month, depending on the instrument and if you rent a new or used instrument. Violins are the least expensive and saxophones are the most expensive. Some stores offer a rent to own plan. Also, some stores only require a two month commitment. Below are two local stores that rent instruments. Contact them for more information about what they offer. Harvard St. Music Store is our local store. Nick Rail and JKEAA music are also excellent options and they often times will deliver a rental instrument to Hemet to save you the trip out of town.

  • Pete's Music (bought by Bertand's Music) 29800 Bradley Rd, Menifee CA 92586 (951) 301-8088 petesmusic.com (they will deliver the instrument to your child's school)

  • Nick Rail Music 1770 Orange Tree Ln Redlands 909-798-9998 nickrailmusic.com

Option 2: BUY AN INSTRUMENT

NEW INSTRUMENTS

New instruments can be purchased through the music stores above or through online vendors such as musiciansfriend.com. Look for quality brands as listed below.

USED INSTRUMENTS

Often times buying a used instrument is the best option. An excellent website for buying used instruments is reverb.com. Feel free to email me if you have any questions about a potential used instrument. Mr Fults’ email: pfults@hemetusd.org
