Dear band parents,
I ask that all parents please provide these essentials for your student if possible. Some instruments may come with some of these supplies. Amazon.com is usually the easiest and cheapest place to find these supplies. I have included links to each item below on Amazon. Simply click on each underlined item below and it will take you to the item I recommend on Amazon. Music stores may also carry these supplies. I recommend calling the store first and asking if they have the supplies you need before driving out there. The closest music stores include Bertrand's Music in Menifee and Temecula, and Music & Arts store in Murrieta. If you have any questions or are not financially able to get these supplies, please message me or send a note with your child and I will do my best to help your child get what they need.

FLUTE
Music Stand for home practice.
Flute Care Kit No need to purchase if your flute already comes with a cleaning rod. (Not a required purchase, but highly recommended)
CLARINET
BAND BOOK: Essential Elements for Band - Book 1 for Clarinet
Box of #2.5 Mitchell Lurie clarinet reeds - for 1st year players
Box of #3 Mitchell Lurie clarinet reeds - for 2nd year players
A box of 10 reeds typically will last a student for the whole year. Reeds wear out and break easily. Students need to keep at least three working reeds in their case at all times. I highly recommend Mitchell Lurie brand over the cheaper brands out there. They are well worth the money.

ALTO SAXOPHONE
BAND BOOK: Essential Elements for Band - Book 1 for Alto Saxophone
A box of #2.5 Rico brand alto sax reeds. A box of 10 reeds typically lasts a student for the whole year. Reeds wear out after a few weeks and break easily. Students need to keep at least three working reeds in their case at all times. I highly recommend Rico brand over the cheaper brands out there. They are worth the money.

TRUMPET
Al Cass or Yamaha Valve Oil Oil is included in the maintenance kit so there is no need to buy this if you buy the kit. Valve oil is essential for the proper care and functionality of a trumpet.
