Through CTE, students have the opportunity to attend a variety of field trips. Some of these include theme or amusement parks, museums, sporting events, and other events.
In order to attend these field trips, students may not have an F in ANY class AND no behavioral activity (more than 3 documented pre-referrals in aeries within the same month).
Grades will be checked at the end of of the previous triad.
Students must also turn in a permission slip signed by a parent/guardian. If the student is 18, they may sign their own permission slip, but MUST to be 18
If a parent/guardian would like to be a chaperone, they will need to make sure they have the following:
A clear TB test
Fingerprints done at the district office for clearance
A valid school year volunteer form
Must be over the age of 25
If you have any questions on this matter, please call the front office at 951-765-5193 for more information
Students MAY be signed out by parents/guardians on the field trip day.
The head chaperone MUST know BEFORE attending the field trip.
HOWEVER, parents/guardians must meet the head chaperone at the designated time set for the field trip day. If the field trip contains a workshop, parents/guardians MAY NOT sign their student out until the end of the workshop. .
Failure to do so will result in the parent/guardians waiting to sign their student out at the end of the designated end time for the trip.
Note: If the field trip takes place at a theme park, the parent/guardian signing out will need to either have access into the theme park OR will have to wait until the time we exit the park as a group. There will not be any special accommodations to this rule.
