Chandani & Burns, LLC is an SLP-owned and operated boutique style clinic, in Skokie IL. We provide clinic- and community-based, and in-school and in-home speech-language and occupational therapy services to children and adults.
Our clinicians specialize in autism, social pragmatics, apraxia, AAC, ADHD, executive functioning, cognitive impairments, and aphasia. We are known for our work with individuals with apraxia and complex communication needs. We are committed to providing high quality therapeutic services to individuals across the lifespan, in the northern suburbs/greater north shore area and Chicago. As a sibling caregiver of an adult brother with an intellectual disability, Heera Chandani is passionate to bring on people who can truly connect with families and provide the family-centered care that has been essential in her journey with her brother.
We are a growing practice and are looking for 1-2 PART-TIME speech language pathologists (with room to grow) and a FULL-TIME SLP and OT. If you are looking for leadership opportunities in the practice (e.g., a Clinic Manager and/or an E.I. Service Coordinator), that would be a plus. We offer competitive pay and mentoring. The current need is primarily in-office and in-school; you could have back-to-back clients without the commute and with access to all the materials you could think of. Our office is located in Skokie (Chandani & Burns LLC).

Applicants must be committed to family-centered, trauma-informed, and neurodiversity-affirming therapy practices. Candidates must be comfortable with using technology (including AAC), conducting comprehensive evaluations, and educating caregivers.
The ideal candidates must meet the following qualifications:
· Master’s degree in their respective fields from an accredited university
· For SLPs - CCCs and an active IL state licensure as SLP (exception: CF's are welcome to apply but we require a minimum 2-year commitment to ensure continuity of services to our families, mentorship provided).
· Prior experience with children and adults with a variety of disorders (1+ years); experience working in a private practice/clinic setting preferred.
- Prior experience in early intervention and experience with childhood apraxia of speech, autism, auditory processing, and group therapy is preferred.
· Prior experience with AAC and instructional technology (e.g., software, apps) preferred.
· Positive and patient demeanor + energetic, dynamic, fun, and well organized!
· Strong interpersonal skills and exceptional oral and written communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively and excited to collaborate with parents and related service providers
· Open to working with children of all ages and with different disorders

Minimum 1 year of experience in the field and experience working in a private practice setting is preferred.
