About Me

Hello, and welcome to our classroom community! My name is Katie Dunning and I’ll be your child’s teacher this year. This is my 9th year teaching at Hellgate and I am so excited to have your child in my classroom! I am passionate about helping students develop a lifelong love of learning through play and exploration!

I am married with 3 amazing children. We have lived here in Missoula for 20 years and love the community, its people, and our beautiful outdoor spaces! I also love to bake, read, hike, paddle board, and watch soccer! When I am not at school you will probably see me out and about, coffee in hand!
