My name is Devon Honzel and this is my 25th year in education. I had the privilege of working at Hellgate Elementary my entire career. I have taught Kindergarten, 5th Grade and this is my 8th year in 3rd Grade. I graduated from the University of Montana with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and received my Master's Degree in Fine Arts in Education also from the University of Montana (GO GRIZ!!!)
I am a Montana native. I have now lived in Missoula longer than I lived in my hometown of Helena. My husband is a Science teacher at Big Sky High School. We have three kids, two daughters and one son.
When I am not teaching, you can find our family watching our son compete in gymnastics, rafting, hiking, and spending time with our extended family. We love the outdoors here in MONTANA!
