Luge riders hurtle down a slippery ice track at great speed, relying on reflexes for steering. Unlike bobsleigh, however, they have no protection should they make an error.
I was commissioned to design a logo for the Irish Luge Federation. Through thorough research, I ensured the logo was clean, versatile, and easily transferable across various applications. The design incorporated the iconic Irish shamrock along with a black silhouette.
I also designed the skinsuits used at the 2022 Beijing Olympic Games, as well as in various World Cups and World Championships worldwide.Â
My design concept centered around shapes that symbolize speed, with symmetrical lines representing the pursuit of the fastest racing line on the track.
