Our Worship Services:
We are a small congregation. Most Sundays, there are about 30 people present for worship, with several others watching the livestream from home. You can wear whatever you like. Some of us dress up for church while others come in casual clothing.
When you arrive, a greeter will welcome you, give you a bulletin that outlines the order of service, and invite you to sign our guest book.
The worship leader and song leader will guide you through the service, announcing when to stand and sit and which songs to turn to in the hymnal for congregational singing. We use the Voices Together hymnal for most of our songs and often sing without any instrumental accompaniment.
Toward the beginning of our service we share prayer requests, lighting a candle for each one. Then, the pastor or another person will lead a prayer.
Sermons are typically 15-20 minutes long. Pastor Anna preaches three times a month and we invite a variety of other speakers to share messages on the remaining Sundays.
For examples of what our worship services are like, you can see past services on our YouTube page or join the livestream at 10am on a Sunday morning.
Second Hour
After the worship service, we have coffee and tea and sometimes snacks during our fellowship time. Then, if you stay for Second Hour, the adults remain in the fellowship hall for conversation about the sermon or another topic, while children and youth have their own Second Hour activities.
Other Notes
We have a nursery you can visit with your little ones.
Our sanctuary is on the second floor so there is a chair lift to assist those who need it (enter through the office/handicap entrance to find this)
The church's outdoor property includes a nature trail, memorial tree grove, playground, little free library and more. You are welcome to respectfully use our outdoor amenities on Sundays and during the week.
