Sound Waves is the name of our campus Orff Ensemble. This year we perform a variety of excerpts from Carl Orff's "Music for Children Volume I", Walt Hampton's "Hot Marimba" and Will Schmid's "World Music Drumming" curriculum. With the skills and knowledge that are learn in our every day music classes, our students collaborated to create and perform a lively vivacious program the we called "PLAY!". This jubilant performance brings joy, fun, and many smiles to all who listen. The Sound Waves have performed for campus events such as PTA meetings and award ceremonies. This year we had a unique opportunity to perform for our first ever vertically aligned community performance with the Bedford Junior High Band at their spring concert. This group also earned a "Superior Plus" rating at the NRH2O Music Festival for the second year in a row.  It has been and exciting year for our young musicians, with even greater opportunities ahead.  Please enjoy the performance videos below, because we are happy to share our music with you!
