Course Description:
World Geography provides students with an in-depth exploration of the physical and human geography of the Earth's regions. The course examines geographical features such as climate, landforms, and ecosystems, alongside human influences like culture, population distribution, urbanization, and global economic patterns. Students will analyze the relationships between people and their environments and explore how geography influences historical events, political boundaries, and economic systems.
The course encourages geographic literacy and critical thinking by engaging students in map interpretation, case studies, and analysis of global issues such as migration, resource distribution, and environmental challenges. This knowledge helps students better understand global interconnectedness and cultural diversity.
