Course Description:
This course offers students an introduction to macroeconomic principles and personal finance management. The macroeconomics portion covers essential economic concepts such as supply and demand, inflation, unemployment, monetary policy, fiscal policy, and the role of government and central banks in shaping economic outcomes. Students will study economic indicators and analyze their impact on national and global economies.
The personal finance section equips students with practical skills for managing their personal finances. Topics include budgeting, saving,, credit management, taxes, and consumer rights. Students will develop financial literacy to make informed decisions about personal and household financial matters, preparing them for financial independence in the future.
