Pink & Yellow Cards

Yellow Card

A student will have a yellow card placed on their desk if they are not following CHAMPS expectations. The yellow card serves just as a reminder to the student to get back on track.

Pink Card

A yellow card will be replaced with a pink card if the student has decided to ignore the yellow card reminder. If the student receives the pink card, they are to follow the instructions on the card.

Reflection Sheet

The student will then respectfully walk to Ms. Hall's room. They will grab the purple slip and quietly take a seat. The student will answer the questions on the slip in complete sentences and neat handwriting. They will remain in Ms. Hall's room until Ms. Marcin comes and gets them.

Class Dojo

Class Dojo is an excellent tool to keep students motivated. Each student can earn points for staying on task, helping others, participating, etc. At the end of the week, the top 5 students will receive a prize. Parents are able to connect to their student's account to celebrate their point earning, contact us, and receive information and reminders about school! You can join our class here! Parents who were connected in 3rd grade should already be connected to our class.

Tokens

Students will start the class with 2 tokens. Tokens will need to be turned in if a student needs to use the restroom outside of a class restroom break or if they come to class unprepared (without a pencil). Students will, of course, be allowed to use the restroom and get pencils even if they've already used both tokens, and a replacement for a broken pencil will not require a token. The number of tokens a student has remaining at the end of class will be added as ClassDojo points!
