CCMR stands for College, Career, and Military Readiness, a system used by the Texas Education Agency to measure how well high school students are prepared for life after graduation. It tracks specific milestones, and students who achieve at least one of these designations are considered "CCMR met".
It is the goal of HEB ISD to ensure that every student is equipped with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to thrive in their chosen path after high school.
Students who are not CCMR Met by their Senior year will be enrolled in a TSIA prep class to open a pathway for College Readiness.
CCMR Perks: Students who are CCMR met are eligible for a release period in their Junior and Senior years and will receive an extra exemption for finals.
