Mrs. Porter teaches private voice lessons to students of all ages. She has a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Hardin Simmons University and is certified by the State Board of Educators and Texas Education Agency to teach music to students from early childhood (EC) through 12th grade, although she teaches some adults, too! She is excited to begin her 9th year of teaching and is honored to be working with the amazing directors and talented students of Central Junior High. Mrs. Porter enjoys helping young musicians prepare for auditions and contests like All-Region and Solo & Ensemble, but her favorite part of teaching voice is getting to make music with young singers!
