Healthy and Safety

*Please be aware that COVID tests are available on the Bothin campus, please ask your class teacher or come into the office.

In order to keep all of the children and teachers healthy and productive at school, please do not bring your child to school if they are displaying any of the following:

  • Fever above 100 degrees within the last 24 hours

  • Abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea within the last 24 hours

  • Incessant coughing, new cough, shortness of breath, or difficulty breathing

  • Constantly running nose (greenish mucus)

  • Unusual rash, rash and fever

  • Body Aches

  • Sore throat

  • New loss of taste or smell

  • Unusual fatigue or irritability

  • Pink eye

  • Lice or nits

  • Ringworm

This list is not a comprehensive list of symptoms. Students must be fever-free, without medication, for 24 hours before returning to school and symptoms should be resolving. Unless a child has a doctor’s note that states that they are not contagious to others, we will ask that you keep your child at home with these symptoms. Please do not medicate your child so that these symptoms disappear in the morning, in order to bring them to school, later in the day they may feel sick again and by that time it is possible that they have infected other children/adults in the classroom.
