United States History

Eighth grade focuses on the history of the United States from early colonial times through Reconstruction. The TEKS highlight critical events such as the American Revolution, the creation of the Constitution, westward expansion, the Civil War, and the challenges of Reconstruction. Emphasis is placed on the development of democratic institutions, founding principles, and the enduring impact of historical events on modern American society.
