JAZZ BAND and LIVE MUSIC is Back!
TAB's Studio Theatre hosted a wildly entertaining Jazz performance during lunch on May 12.

Led by bandleader Ms. Amy Abbott and attended by students, staff and professional musician and trumpet player Neil Christopherson, the Jazz Band entertained with their smooth sounds and fantastic costumes in tribute to the memory of the TAB teacher Mr. Shanks.

The band played a set of four songs: The Chicken, 25 to 6 to 4, MIdnight Voyage, and Such Sweet Thunder. A good variety of styles and tempos left the appreciative crowd wanting more. Unfortunately, period 3 classes got in the way of a full concert; however, students and staff can look forward to more music from this talented group.
Thursday, May 26th will be the music program's final performance of the school year. It will take place in the large gym at 7 pm. Symphonic Winds, Choir, String Ensemble, Jazz Band, and Wind Ensemble will all be featured at this free concert.
