Welcome to the RSP Rattle, our weekly communication newsletter for the Rattlesnake Point Public School community members to hear what is making noise each week at RSP.
Doors open for the first time welcoming students to Rattlesnake Point PS
In order to best meet the needs of our students and be responsive to our communities needs, we are sending out this reminder to families and guardians who drive their child or children to school.
The lane-by which is on Kovachik Blvd, is for buses only. We need to keep this lane-by clear so buses can maneuver in and out and continue on their route.
When you pull into the school parking lot, community members are to use Zone B, which is the first 2 sides of the parking lot. The expectation is that you will let your kids out, and leave so other families can do the same. If you are unable to occupy a spot, the best option for you is to park safely on the road, drop off your children and they can walk up the sidewalk to the blacktop. If everyone parks their vehicle and gets out, there are not enough spaces for our families.
If you are a family with a child in kindergarten or a child in kindergarten + other grades, you can use Zone A to drop off your child or children. No vehicle should be behind or in front of any small bus dropping off students. You will need to wait until the bus moves to move ahead.
Also, we have had many families park in our accessible parking spots without an accessible parking permit. Please do not park in these spots unless you have a permit to do so. We have families who require those spots.
ALL RSP students will have the opportunity to travel to the conservation area over the next couple of weeks ~ be sure to get those permission forms in!
If your child will be absent from school, here are the options for reporting student absence:
