Our Cross Country team traveled to Sherwood Forest Park to participate in the Bero Cross Country Meet. They had a fabulous day enjoying the sun and the sport of running. All runners had a positive attitude and performed to the best of their abilities. Congratulations goes out to our Robert Little ribbon winners - in gr. 3 Paisley finished 4th, Quinn was 7th and Brad, despite losing his shoe at the start line, missed the ribbons by 1 place with an 11th place finish; in gr. 4 Grace was 3rd, Kate was 4th and Eliam was 8th. Thanks for a wonderful day runners. Mr. C and Mrs. Maybury
Our North Stars came together to honour the incredible legacy of Terry Fox.
Students gathered in the gym for a special Terry Fox assembly, where our local friend John Hurst shared Terry’s story and reminded us of the courage, determination, and hope behind the Marathon of Hope. It was a wonderful opportunity for our students to learn more about Terry and the difference one person can make.
After the assembly, we headed outside for our Terry Fox Run! Our students and staff proudly participated, showing their support and helping keep Terry’s dream alive.
A huge thank you to our North Star students, staff, families, and community for coming together to support this important cause. Your generosity and participation truly show the strength of our Robert Little community. ⭐
We Run Together. We Remember Together. We Make a Difference Together.

The HDSB Mobile App consolidates important information for parents/guardians and students into one easy-to-access location. Report absences, receive school and Board news, social media and calendars all in one place. Download the free app on the App Store or Google Play by searching “Halton District School Board” or “HDSB”.
During the app setup process, users will be prompted to “subscribe" to individual schools. This means parents/guardians can customize their news by choosing (tapping) which schools they would like to receive information from, in addition to updates from the Halton District School Board.
Through a simple tap of the app, users have access to a series of icons containing helpful and timely information and resources, such as:
Reporting student absences
School news and calendar feeds
Transportation information and updates
School Cash Online
Notifications about school closures and bus cancellations
Access to school and Board news including media releases, school stories and videos
Links to Board and school social media pages
All school contact information including maps to schools
As we head into cold and flu season, we'd love to share a simple way your school community can support local children while stocking up on an everyday essential.
One of our Food4Kids Halton volunteers created Wicked Wipes after his daughter became seriously ill. His mission is to help prevent the spread of germs by providing individually wrapped sanitizing wipes that are easy to keep in backpacks, lunch bags, purses, and cars.
Available for $34 per 50-pack, Wicked Wipes are a practical way to prepare for cold and flu season while supporting the more than 1,200 local elementary school children who rely on Food4Kids Halton each weekend for healthy food.
From September 18 to October 18, every purchase through this campaign helps support local kids. If you’re able, we would be grateful if you could share this campaign with your school community through your newsletter or parent communications.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support!
