My Name is Mr. Neufeld and I strive to provide both an educational and fun music program to all of my students. With the inclusion of grade four to grade eight in my responsibilities, it gives me the opportunity to develop the students awareness and musical skills from the ground up.

About me

My name is Mr. Neufeld. I am very excited to, once again, be teaching instrumental music at Munn's. I have been teaching music for several years, including a numbers of years giving private saxophone/clarinet lessons.

I have been teaching Instrumental Music at Munn's Public school since 2009. Before that I worked in the business world as a Marketing information technology consultant. Being led to music was not a difficult choice as I have played since I was very young.

I run a small Church Band at St Paul's United Church which is open to any one who would like to join and we meet weekly. I am also active in other ensembles that meet irregularly.

My Goal as a teacher is to make music as enjoyable and fun as possible. From the beginning grades that I teach I strive to provide as much exposure to relevant musical concepts and abilities that I am able. Students are taught to read, perform and compose with the end goal of being accomplished musicians in their own right. I try to provide as many different musical experiences as possible that will enlighten, entertain and educate.
