Grade 4 Word wall words

Understanding how to spell unfamiliar words is an important part of writing.

In our Literacy program we will practise spelling and working on these words using Word Study games and activities.

Once we have practised and learned these words they become "no excuse words". Students should be able to spell, read and write these words correctly in their daily work.

All of our Word Wall words can also be found in our classroom as a part of our Interactive Word Wall.

A great deal of focus will also be on differentiating the between the spelling and definitions of various homophones (words that sound the same but have different spelling and meanings).
