About Your School Library

The Pine Grove Library consists of over 17 000 titles to appeal to students at different levels of reading and with a wide variety of interests in grades 2 through 8, in English and in French.

Library Barcodes: Students no longer require library barcodes to access services through eit.hdsb.ca. Online resources for students can be accessed using the student HDSB username and password.

Online Databases: All students have access to the databases and other online resources from the HDSB Elementary Internet Tools page. These databases include online encyclopedias, journals, music, videos, picture books, audio and ebooks. Many audio and ebooks are aimed at grades 4-12, but some junior fiction novels and picture books are available. . Younger students may wish to access BookFlix form the Elementary Internet Tools Page. Parents are advised to assist students in choosing age appropriate titles because of the wide variety of topics and grade levels offered. Database access from home requires the student's HDSB network username and password. Exceptions: Raz Kids, Dream Box and Infos-Jeunes passwords can be obtained from your child's teacher.
