Technology Program

Students will be introduced to a variety of techniques involving hand and power tools. Students will develop an understanding and confidence working in the metal and wood shop, safety and working on program projects such as building wood cars and then racing them in order to analyze their design elements.

In this course, you will be expected to provide evidence that you can:

· Demonstrate an understanding of teamwork;

· Develop a sense of project and design;

· Work with a variety of materials;

· Use a variety of tools;

· Demonstrate an understanding of safety.
