Visual Arts Program

Students will be introduced to a variety of visual arts. The focus will be on the development of art appreciation and creative expression. Students will use a variety of materials, tools, processes, and techniques to create art work. The art program will emphasize Drawing, Painting, and Crafts.

In this course, you will be expected to provide evidence that you can:

· Understand and apply the basic elements of art;

· Use materials and tools safely;

· Use materials and processes to create art that express themselves;

· Exposure to a variety of materials in their creative expression;

· Teamwork, communication and social skills.
