Innovation Project

For our Innovation Project we attempted to solve our door problem. When students close the door it makes a loud noise. It is really annoying. We tried to solve that problem by making a custom door stopper. The process was not easy.

First, we tried to make a hexagon-shaped door stopper and put a spike through it. Then tie one side of the string to the spike and the other side to the hook that we had on our door. That did not work because Alex accidentally broke that hook and our teacher said, the door has to fully close. Then we started to think of another approach.

Finally, we decided to make two long tubes with a hole in each of them. We went forward with that idea. I am still not sure how this is going to work because the door still won't close all the way. The original script for our infomercial read more like a movie script. So we created a new script and based our infomercial on it. The filming of our infomercial went smoothly, but there are a few sections, in our opinion, that could be improved.

Everything else went very well and I think we did a really good job on it, however, if we could do we would change the thickness so we could close the door entirely. But regardless, we hope that our class will enjoy our infomercial and use our door stopper.
