Q: Name and Grade?
A: Leo Yryku, Grade 8.
Q: Are you excited to being graduating middle school
and starting highschool next year?
A: I’m relatively excited to graduate only really because
it’s celebratory- Something to be enjoyed. I’m halfway excited to begin highschool, but halfway anxious because of the change in routine and peers.
Q: If you could go back to the start of middle school
what would you do differently?
A: I would probably try to give myself more confidence in talking to who i considered stranger at the time, because most of those strangers are now my closest friends. I would’ve preferred to have them sooner than later.
Q: What is your favourite middle school memory?
A: I would say my favourite memory was made on
Wednesday. Our class was outside for a second last project working on a hand-sewing project. I was around my favourite people with an enjoyable school project under the shade. It’s now my favourite because it was very relaxing and stress/anxiety free.
Q: Finally what advice would you give someone
entering middle school?
A: You’re probably gonna meet a whole lot of new people in a short amount of time. Be honest with yourself and drift from the ones that don’t treat you fairly, it’s much more worth it than to stay and get pushed around.
