Exam Board: OCR

Structure: 3 components; two are internally assessed and moderated and one is an external exam. Unit RO33 is a controlled assessment about growth, development, the factors affecting these and the impact that different life events have on an individual. For this controlled assessment students will need a person to interview about their experiences with different life events. Unit RO35 is the second controlled assessment that Students will do. For this assignment students will need to make their own health campaign, on a topic given by the exam board and they will have to present their campaign to a live audience. Unit RO32 is the exam and this covers everything up to this point as well as covering what it is like to work within the health and social care sector.
Homework is set bi - weekly. This consists of reading, questions, case studies and exam practise.
