Sonoma Heights Elementary

My name is Leanne Corbitt and I am the school counselor at Sonoma Heights Elementary. I started my teaching career in Texas 29 years ago and moved to Nevada in 2005.   I am so excited to begin my journey as a school counselor and look forward to a fresh start in my career. I am married to Mr. Corbitt who works at the District Office and we have four children.  Our oldest, Blair, works for Dragon Ridge Golf Course in Las Vegas, Emalee graduated this spring from UNR and works at an accounting firm in Reno.  Hadlee is in 7th grade and likes to play hockey, golf, ride horses, and just made the basketball team.  Our youngest, Landree, is in 3rd grade and loves swimming, playing with friends, and playing golf.  We are a family that loves the outdoors and going on vacation.  We love to go hiking, golfing, and skiing in the winter. 

I love working with children and I am excited to help them succeed in all aspects of life.  I am looking forward to working with our Tiger Staff and families this year!
