Sonoma Heights Elementary

My name is Leanne Corbitt, and I am the school counselor at Sonoma Heights Elementary. I began my teaching career in Texas 30 years ago and moved to Nevada in 2005. This is my second year serving as the school counselor, and I have truly enjoyed this new chapter in my career. I love having the opportunity to visit with all of our students and offer help wherever I’m needed.

I’m married to Mr. Corbitt, who is our new Superintendent. We have four wonderful children. Our oldest, Blair, works at Dragon Ridge Golf Course in Las Vegas. Emalee is employed at an accounting firm in Reno. Hadlee is in 8th grade and enjoys playing hockey, golf, riding horses, and recently played softball over the summer. Our youngest, Landree, is in 4th grade. She loves swimming, playing with friends, and golfing. Softball is her newest sport, and she’s quickly grown to love it.

As a family, we enjoy spending time outdoors and going on vacations together. Some of our favorite activities include hiking, golfing, and skiing in the winter.
