Team Information

Students in 4th and 5th grade can form teams of 2 to 4 readers. Everyone on a team must be from the same school. If a student wants to join but does not have a team yet, the librarians can help match them with one.

Teams can be formed anytime from May 2025 until January 2026. After teams are created, teammates decide how they want to read the books. Teams should sure someone has read each book. Some students choose to read all of the books, while other teams divide the list so each person reads a few books and then shares what they learned with the group. It's a good idea to make sure more than one person has read each book. This helps the whole team get ready for the Battle! If you haven't read a book, trust the members who have, to be able to answer those questions. Also, you will want to decide in advance who is going to work the keyboard.
