Beginning November 29th, students will be reading the National Book Award finalist When Stars Are Scattered. This graphic novel memoir is an incredible true story of heartbreak and hope. The novel will also be a springboard for additional research on refugees and culminate in student writing.
Crocker's Summer Reading List 2021:
Yes, we know summer is over, but this remains a GREAT list of recommended books your middle schooler may enjoy. All of these books are available in the Crocker library! Students are able to visit the library during lunch every day, and they can check out as many books as they'd like (and are able to be responsible for!).
