Adventures for 2024

Given the composition of each group and the weather, the following schedule might need to be changed. The normal hours of Nature Camp are 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. However, on some days, parents will be asked drop off and pick up their child at a location other than South School, and occasionally, the day's start and end times will need to be modified. Any modifications to the start and end times will be given via email.

Monday: Laurelwood and Sugarloaf Mountain

Tuesday: Stanford

Wednesday: Filoli (ride up or parent drop off at Canada Road at 9:00 am, and pick up at Canada Road at 3:00 pm)

Thursday: Sawyer Camp Trail and San Mateo Creek Walking

Friday: Angel Island (train, ferry, and biking: departure from South at 7:20 am and pick up at South at 5:00 pm)

Monday: Bay Trail South

Tuesday: Carolands Chateau and Central Park

Wednesday: Edgewood Park (ride up or parent drop off at Canada Road at 9:00 am, and pick up at Canada Road at 3:00 pm)

Thursday: Tunnel Tops National Park (train and biking: departure from South at 7:20 am and return to South by 3:00 pm)

Friday: Harley Farms, Berry Picking, Pescadero Marsh (available to campers in any week; return to South by 5:00 pm)

Monday: Mills Canyon and Coyote Point

Tuesday: SF Presidio (train, biking: departure from South at 7:20 am and pick up at South at 4:00 pm)

Wednesday: Huddart Park (pick up at Canada Road at 3:00 pm)

Thursday: Golden Gate Bridge, Tennessee Valley Beach (train, biking, ferry: departure at 7:20 am and return to South by 5:00 pm)

Friday: Angel Island (train, ferry, biking: departure from South at 7:20 am and pick up at South at 5:00 pm)
