Students should be wearing sneakers for outdoor play on our playground. Children without sneakers will be offered a safe alternate play activity.
Make sure to label your child's jacket and all outerwear.
Please no umbrellas at school.
A backpack is essential for your child to bring items home from school. It should be big enough to hold a large library book and labeled with your child's name.
Notice what your child is bringing to school. Toys can be a real distraction.
If you are dropping your child off, you must always accompany your PreK child to the front door as we want to make sure they are safely admitted into the building by a staff member. please use the CAS parking lot.
Please note, per the Hamburg Village Police Department, there is no standing/parking in front of the school on Charlotte Avenue on either side of the street. Parking is available in our parking lot, on the surrounding streets, or in designated areas on Charlotte Avenue. The crosswalk on Charlotte Avenue is prominently marked for the safety of all adults and students who need to cross the street.
Identification should ALWAYS be available so we can assure the release of your child to the designated responsible adult at the end of the day.
If there is ever a change in dismissal, please send in a signed note with your child, or email the school. Emails should always be sent to your child’s classroom teacher as well as:
