Want to be alerted when someone interacts with your Google Classroom?
By setting up notifications within Google Classroom, you'll be notified via email (or push notification if you have the Google Classroom app) whenever a student comments on any of your posts.
Start by going to your Google Classroom, and clicking on the main menu icon.
Scroll all the way to the bottom of the resulting menu and find Settings. Click it!
The very next screen holds the key to enabling notifications. Just click the toggle next to Receive email notifications.
Now, you can customize which notifications you'd like to receive. Classroom breaks it down into sections: Comments, Classes you're enrolled in, and Classes you teach.
Click the toggles to enable whatever level of notification you prefer.
You can also turn notifications on and off by class under the Class notifications area. Again, just click the toggle to turn off notifications for select classes.
