Armor Crew -  (A crew is a group of people who work at a common activity)

At AES we are committed to being a safespace to be ourselves and allow others to be themselves while we live and learn together.  We focus on our collective expectations to educate  the whole child and highlight the successes here at AES.

• We will identify the needs of students through SEL, Academics, Behavior and Movement.

• We will continue to highlight and recognize the work of students and staff through Armor events.

• We will communicate our needs through open and honest dialogue.

1. Everyone at AES will use the collective knowledge and resources to meet students’ needs both academically and socially.  Allowing students to grow as unique individuals.

2. Everyone at AES will be actively involved in highlighting the successes of students and staff through continued Armor activities and events.

3. AES will move forward in a meaningful direction through effective communication and flexible and adaptive planning.

4. Parents and families will feel welcomed, appreciated and included in the AES school community 

• A well defined set of expectations that all AES crew members live by everyday.

• Students and staff will live by the combined expectations of AES to thrive emotionally and academically. This will be accomplished through increased movement (recess, play, sensory activities), academic success (core instruction, academic intervention services) and behaviorally (relationships, restorative practices).

• Students will continue to experience high levels of involvement in monthly family activities, service projects, student recognition programs, and special events, in partnership with the PTSA
