As the weather outside gets warmer please remember to wear sunscreen, sunglasses and a wide brimmed hat. Sunscreen should be applied regularly and have fun in the sun :-).

Puzzle challenge accepted! Been working on this double sided puzzle from my favorite movie of all time :-). I have to be careful because it is fragile!! I will keep you updated and hopefully have it finished well before Christmas.....

Here is an easy to use outdoor scavenger hunt you can use as you take a walk around the neighborhood as you find new and exciting things add them and make your own chart to challenge others.

No matter what day it is start your day and workouts off right. Just like Physical Education class remember to stretch out, warm-up and be prepared. Set a realistic goal both long and short term and go for it!!!!

Instead of a traditional hopscotch board, be creative try different shapes and physical challenges!

Happy April Fool's day :-). As we start a new month let's start a new month long challenge with Lego's! Everyone has them and they are great to play with (just don't leave them laying around on the floor because they really hurt when someone steps on them.)

Balloon Striking Challenge

Working on your striking skills indoors with a balloon is a great idea that doesn't take up much space or need much equipment (if you pop one you can easily just blow up another one:-). Start with these skills and make sure to practice using both hands. Try adding another balloon and come up with your own balloon challenges.

just because you don't have to get up and go to school doesn't mean you shouldn't practice being healthy both physically and mentally. By trying something new everyday you will challenge yourself to be better and get more done.

Wednesday March 25th

Here's a great activity to practice spelling your first and last name and get in some physical activity as well. Also try spelling your brothers, sisters and even pets names as well.

Can Jam-an outdoor game created right here in WNY is a summer fun favorite. Don't have the game? No problem use any cans and start off 10 feet apart as as you get better back up. Remember to toss that frisbee by pointing to you then to target.
