Program Structure

Program Structure

The entirety of the STEM Program is referred to as the STEMpire (seen on the left). Our STEM Program consists of the Robotics Team, our Individual Olympiads, the STEM Team, and BioBucs. Each of those smaller assemblies has a list of competitions they have the option of competing in. The major competitions are shown in the graphic (oval-shaped text boxes).

How Each Team is Structured

BioBucs:

Led by Ms. Ort with team Captains to be announced, Biobucs is a smaller team of environmental researchers who submit their research at the end of the first semester to be judged and hopefully passed to the national stage.

Ind. Competitions & Olympiads:

Anyone who wants to take one of the single-person tests can talk to Dev Patel to have it organized.

Robotics:

Led by David Mazur, Rayaan Damani, and Alyaan Damani, Robotics is a new club centered around designing robots to compete in the VEX regional qualifiers in November. If they do well, they can go on to the state, national, or even international VEX Robotics competitions.

STEM Team:

Dev Patel, Eshika Kudaravalli, Akhil Boddupalli, Asha Metta, and Phanulle Manuel- STEM Team spends the first semester preparing for the Science Olympiad regional qualifiers in February. After that, preparation for TEAMS competition begins as well as SciOly improvements if they proceed to the State Competition in Auburn. Check the calendar for the date.
