Mrs. Catina McLagan
Strings Director

Mrs. McLagan has been at Veterans Elementary School for 10 years and loves teaching strings! This is also her first year at Worthington Elementary School. Her favorite part about music is playing with others, which we will do all the time in class! In her free time she enjoys reading, playing piano, streaming Netflix, traveling with her husband and daughter, and playing with her dog, Gidget.

Mrs. McLagan received her bachelor's degree in music and K-12 teaching certification from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC '14). She completed her master's degree in music education with the University of the Arts ('20). She is looking forward to another school year and can't wait to show students how fun orchestra can be!
