To beat the game, you must beat the Ender Dragon. The Ender Dragon will spawn as soon as you go to the end by activating and going through an end portal. End portals are found in strongholds found deep underground.

Beating the game: Let's start when you make your world. So, once you spawn, you need to gather wood. Do this by punching trees. Then, put your logs in your crafting grid and craft planks. You want about 64 planks when you have crafted them, so mine 16 logs . Now, craft 4 sticks (2 planks on top of each other), and a crafting table (4 planks in a square), and then use your new crafting table to craft a wooden pickaxe (2 sticks on top of each other on the bottom middle, then add 3 planks spread out along the top). Next, find a small cave or if possible, a cliff. With your wooden pickaxe, mine at least 26 stone from the cave or cliff. But beware! If it is not peaceful mode, there may be monsters such as zombies, skeletons (with bow and arrows), creepers (they explode if you get near), and spiders. Make 2 furnaces with a crafting table (fill the crafting grid with cobblestone except for the middle square). Make 2 stone pickaxes (same as a wooden pickaxe, but with cobblestone), and 2 stone swords (a stick on the bottom, with 2 cobblestone above it). Now, you will need to find a cave. Once a cave is found, look for coal to mine. If you happen to see iron, make sure to mine it with your stone pickaxe. Do not use a wood pickaxe for iron. If you see spiders, zombies, creepers, or skeletons, kill them using your stone sword. Creepers do explode so be careful around them or avoid them completely to be safe. You can use a wood or stone pickaxe to mine coal. Next, mine at least 23 iron (if you haven't already). If you can't find that much iron, it is okay. Don't waste to much time looking for iron if you can't find a lot. The least iron you can get is 6 but that is a pain in the butt. Place your furnace and put all of your coal in the bottom slot in the furnace and put your iron in the top section of the furnace. Wait for your iron to smelt into ingots. Make an iron pickaxe (Use your brain. I think you know). Next, make an iron sword (same as stone, but iron). Now, make 5 buckets (1 iron on the bottom middle, 1 iron in the middle on the left side, 1 iron in the middle on the right side). Now, explore caves for lava (If you also see diamonds, mine them with your iron pickaxe. You will need 3 diamonds later, and if you want to be stronger, you will need 2 more diamonds). Anyway, you will need 5 lava buckets. If you find a lava pool, get your lava that way. If you find lava pouring out of the wall of the cave, you can only get the lava by collecting it from the source block (the block that the lava comes from). Now you will need to mine your 3 (or if you want to get stronger, 5) diamonds. Now, make a diamond pickaxe (same as all other pickaxe recipes). After you've done that, you can get out of the cave and go to the surface. Dig 5 holes in the ground. Place lava in each one. Now, get a water bucket (you only need 1). Place the water bucket near the lava (but not on). The water will flow onto the lava, and the lava will turn into obsidian. Mine the obsidian with your diamond pickaxe. It will take about 10 seconds per block. With your buckets, go back into the cave and get 5 more buckets of lava. Turn it into obsidian like before (if you want to use the 2 diamonds to get stronger, also get 4 more buckets of lava and turn it into obsidian. You will also need 26 extra iron ingots).
I'm gonna explain the extra stuff to get stronger now but if you don't have the 4 extra obsidian, 2 extra diamonds, and 26 extra iron ingots, then don't do it. Now, get out of the cave and get 9 sugarcane (green, tall plant that grows on sand near water). Kill 1 cows for 1 leather. Put the sugarcane in rows in a crafting table. Craft paper. Now put leather in the bottom right corner of the crafting table. Put paper above, to the left, and diagonal of the leather. Craft the book. Now place 3 obsidian in a row the bottom. Place one obsidian in the center, then place 1 diamond to the left of the obsidian and one to the right of the obsidian. Place the book above the obsidian. Craft the enchantment table. Place down the enchantment table. Now, click on it and place your armor and weapons in it. Now click on the enchantments and now you will be stronger.
Now, I will get back to beating the game. Craft a flint and steel (iron on bottom middle, flint diagonally upward to the left). You can get flint from mining gravel. Now, you need to make a nether portal. use your obsidian to make a 5 block tall, 4 block wide and 1 block long square of obsidian, but leave out the corners and the middle six blocks. now, use flint and steel to light it. But before you go in, make sure you have these items: iron armor, around 32 cobblestone, and a shield. Now, enter the portal. You can find netherite there, but you don't have to. It is rare and hard to craft. Explore the dimension (don't look endermen in the eyes) and find a nether fortress (look in structures if you don't know what it is). Find blazes (flying fires) and kill them until you have around 20 blaze rods. Now either kill many endermen, or trade gold ingots with piglins until you have the same number of enderpearls as you do blaze rods. Now craft the blaze rods and ender pearls together to make eyes of ender. Go back into your portal and throw one of them. Walk in the direction the eye of ender goes. When it goes downward, dig down until you are inside a stronghold.
Now, find an end portal and put one eye of ender in each of the twelve portal pieces. Now, jump into the portal that you just lit. Go to the giant island and build up to the top of an obsidian pillar. Break the crystal (warning: crystal explodes). Do the same to all of the other pillars. Now kill the ender dragon with your sword and bow. It's health is at the top of your screen. Now, 2 different portals should open up. One of them is in the center of the island. When you jump into that portal, it teleports you to the overworld and you win the game. Congratulations! The other portal is one block surrounded with bedrock in the air. It teleports you to the end islands. You can find end cities and end ships there. There are also eletras in the end ships. They help you fly through the air and are very fun to use. There is lots of treasure in the structure to steel. It should be easy to spot the 2 structers. You also might find another portal like the one you used to get here. it will send you back to the end island that you killed the ender dragon on. By the way, when you win the game, you can still continue to play in that world.
Making a base (or house)
Find a place where you want to build your base (it is recommended you mine out a flat surface for your base). This will be your first house. Use some of your extra planks to make more sticks, and then use more of your extra planks as fuel to smelt the logs you mined earlier. This is to make charcoal to use for torches. Once you have crafted your torches, use some to light up your shelter. Now, it is probably almost night, so go outside and place your door for the house. DO NOT stay inside to place the door because mobs can attack through improperly placed doors. Now go back in your house and wait until sunrise. Congratulations! You have made it through your first night! if you cannot find flat ground for a base, you can find a hill and mine out a space to be your house. Also, if your house is not ready by sunset, you can make an emergency shelter by digging down 3 blocks, and then placing a block above you. You will also want a bed, so find three sheep and kill them, or if you have extra iron, you can craft shears by putting one iron in the bottom middle square of the crafting grid and one on the right side of the middle row. now shear a few sheep, or kill the three needed. To make a bed, go to your crafting table and put wood planks all in the bottom row, and wool in every square in the middle row. You now have a bed! Place it in your shelter and interact with it to set your spawnpoint and skip the night (if its nighttime).
bed skip night requirements
there must be no monsters in a 16 block radius of the bed
it must be night
all players must be sleeping
you must be within 3 blocks of the bed
there must not be a villager or player in the bed
Starting a farm
To make a farm, you need seeds and a hoe. To make a hoe, put sticks in the bottom middle and center squares of the crafting grid. Now, in the top middle and top right, put wood planks, stone, iron, or diamond (although I would just use stone). Now, get seeds by finding tall grass and breaking it. There is only about a 1 in 6 chance that you will get seeds from grass and you want 10 seeds so break about 60 tall grasses. Now, fill one of the buckets you made earlier with water and mine out a 5 by 1 trench that is one block deep and fill it with the water you just collected. Next, use the hoe to till the dirt beside the trench of water and plant the seeds. (use the diagram below if you are not sure where to plant the seeds) Now you need to wait for them to grow.
=water
=tilled dirt
Once your wheat is ready, the stalks will be one block tall, and it will be golden brown. Now, punch the wheat and plant more seeds. You can craft bread by putting wheat in all the squares in the middle row of the crafting grid. Also, when you get more seeds, you can expand your farm. Below is how to craft bread.
You will eat bread a lot in Minecraft, so get used to it. You will also probably eat a lot of pork chop, steak, and chicken. To cook food, you need a furnace. Put what you want to cook in the top slot and put fuel (wood, coal, lava) in the bottom slot.
