Advanced Studies is a course offered to students who have taken all courses in a particular CTE course area. For example, if a student has completed all 3 of my Interior Design classes, they could take an Advanced Study with me.

In Advanced Studies, the student picks a particular topic dealing with the courses they took, that they would like to learn more about. For example, if a student had taken all of my ID classes, they could do an Advanced Study on tiny homes. Or, if a student had taken both ECE classes, they could do an Advanced Study on being an ESL teacher.

The Advanced Studies curriculum has 6 portions to be completed by the student in the semester. It is similar to the Senior Project.
