Physical Education Lessons
Physical Activity plays a key role in a child’s growth. An adequate amount of physical activity will aid in the development of musculoskeletal tissues, cardiovascular system and neuromuscular awareness in children and adolescence. The benefits of PA are evident not only through childhood and adolescent years, but it also influences how their body age as they good habits are formed while learning to cope with changing lifestyle and environment.
The PE lessons adopt the following approach to encourage them to take part in PE activities beyond the PE lessons:
Refining fundamental movement skills learnt from Primary School
Learning or revising Game Rules & Game Concepts
Infusing important key values of resilience, win-win and respect into the lessons
Giving autonomy to the students to evaluate and improve on their game skills
