Service Learning Continuing Fellows 

This group of past Service Learning faculty fellows at HCC will explore together how Culturally Responsive Pedagogy (CRP) practice is incorporated into service-learning practice.  Working together, we will focus our conversations on CRP and Service Learning, sharing experiences, questions, and readings.  Providing a venue to take a deeper dive into this area, we will offer resources and recommendations for ways to incorporate these practices into community-based learning courses. 

In the first semester, faculty will plan to incorporate a CRP practice into a course with a Service Learning component for the semester that follows.  

In the second semester, faculty will implement the project, assess it and share their experiences with the Service Learning Faculty Fellows cohort who are planning Service Learning projects for the first time.
