Associates in Sceince in Nursing Program Outcomes
The program outcomes are performance indicators that reflect the extent to which the purposes of the Associates in Science in Nursing (ASN) education program are achieved and the effectiveness is documented. Program outcomes are measurable levels of achievement designed to evaluate the degree to which the ASN program is achieving its mission and outcomes. The assessment data is used in program decision making for the maintenance and improvement of graduates' success on the licensure examination.
The Holyoke Community College nursing faculty has determined the following program outcomes for the ASN curriculum:
The program's most recent annual licensure examination pass rate is > 80% for all first-time test-takers during the same 12-month period.
Sixty percent of students will successfully complete the Associates in Science in Nursing program within 100% of program length once enrolled.
Seventy percent of students will successfully complete the Associates in Science in Nursing program within 150% of program length once enrolled.
Eighty percent of reporting graduates from the nursing program will be employed as a registered nurse within one (1)-year of program completion.
Practical Nurse Program Outcomes

Program outcomes are measurable levels of achievement designed to evaluate the degree to which the PN program is achieving its mission and outcomes. The assessment data is used in program decision making for the maintenance and improvement of graduates' success on the licensure examination.

Seventy percent of students will successfully complete the Practical Nurse program in 150% of program length once enrolled.
Seventy percent of the reporting graduates of the nursing program will be employed as Practical Nurses within six-months of program completion.
