Nursing Program applicants are responsible for the completion of selected general education courses for their elected nursing program with a minimum grade of C+ by the application deadline
Take time to carefully review the Nursing Program Admission Policy and the following selected documents for which general education courses must be completed with your application and if accepted, general education courses that must be completed by the September 1st enrollment date
Accepted students that do not complete the general education course requirements with a minimum grade of C+ (77%) by enrollment will forfeit their acceptance and enrollment into the nursing programs.

PN Program Applicants: For consideration for acceptance in the PN program students need to have completed HCC BIO 217, NTR 101, PSY 110 (or equivalent at another accredited college or university) at the time of application with a C+/77 or higher in each course. *
Students accepted into the PN program must complete HCC BIO 217; BIO 218, NTR 101 PSY 110 and PSY 216 General Education courses (or equivalent at another accredited college or university) successfully with a C+/77 or higher before September 1 in the year of acceptance for enrollment in the PN program.
ASN Program Applicants: For consideration for acceptance in the ASN program students need to have completed HCC ENG 101, NTR 101, PSY 110, SOC 110 & BIO 217 (or equivalent at another accredited college or university) at the time of application with a C+/77 or higher in each course.*
Students accepted into the ASN program must complete ENG 101, ENG 102, NTR 101, PSY 110, PSY 216, BIO 217, BIO 218 & & BIO 229 General Education courses successfully with a C+/77 or higher before September 1 in the year of acceptance for enrollment in the ASN program.
Advanced Placement Applicants: For consideration for acceptance in the 1+1 & LPN2RN ASN program students need to have completed HCC ENG 101, NTR 101, PSY 110, SOC 110 & BIO 217 (or equivalent at another accredited college or university) at the time of application with a C+/77 or higher in each course.*
Students accepted into the 1+1 LPN2RN ASN program must complete ENG 101, ENG 102, NRT 101, PSY 110, PSY 216, BIO 217, BIO 218 & BIO 229 General Education courses successfully with a C+/77 or higher before September 1 in the year of acceptance for enrollment in the ASN program.
