The National Guard Youth ChalleNGe Program was established by Congress in 1993 to turn around the lives of young men and women between the ages of 16 and 18 who are experiencing difficulty in completing traditional high school. This is a free program open to Georgia residents.
Job Corps is a program administered by the United States Department of Labor that offers free education and vocational training to young men and women ages 16 to 24. Individuals 16-24 who have dropped out of school or will be withdrawing from school. This program will provide a GED and Pre-Apprenticeship in Construction certification. This is a national program with an office in Cordele, Georgia to assist at-risk individuals find success in life.
