My name is Cassie Thurston, and this school year marks my 30th year as a teacher. I have taught grades K through 8th in both general and special education. I attended California State University Fullerton and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Child Development. From there, I attended San Diego State University to receive my teaching credentials. In 2002, I received my Master of Arts in Teaching.
Besides being a teacher, I am also the mother of two wonderful children, Jordan and Charles. Now that my husband and I are empty nesters, we have adopted two kitties, Wall-E and Eve. In our free time, we enjoy watching movies, going to Disneyland, and going out to dinner.
