This guide provides resources to help students understand how to set up the iPad for school. Following the resources on this website will help you more effectively use your iPad as a learning tool. Although this site is designed to help incoming 6th grade students and new 7th and 8th grade students with iPad ownership, the resources here will be useful for other students.

Are you having issues with the technology?
STEP 1... Restart, restart, restart
We can’t stress this enough! Whether it is your iPad, laptop, phone, Internet router, anything that can be restarted should be restarted if there is an issue. Be sure to wait 10 seconds or so prior to turning them back on.
STEP 2... Reach out to your teacher
Reach out to your teacher to confirm that the issue is not related to the class or assignment.
STEP 3... Email helpdesk@hb.edu
Email helpdesk@hb.edu from your HB email account. Please include details on the issue you are having, the type of device you are using (laptop, iPad, etc), and the best phone number to reach out to if necessary.
