John Samqua

John Samqua has been a member of the Hayden Catholic High School community since 2013. During this time he has served as the assistant coach for Debate and Forensics for 7 years. He now serves as the Director of Debate and Forensics. During his assistant coaching tenure he has helped coach multiple teams to a top 3 finish at the state debate tournament, multiple final round appearances at state forensics, and has coached several students to NSDA nationals. He graduated from Washburn University in May 2020 majoring in Integrated Studies, with a minor in Political Science. In the Fall Semester of 2023 he will teach 2 sections of Debate, 2 Speech classes, and a Film Studies Class.
